Helen is Brisbane based practical executive with over 20 years’ experience designing and delivering improved outcomes for the energy industry in Australia and Europe, starting with shaping market design as NSW State Government representative in key national electricity market design reviews. 

She has worked across the business spectrum, from startups to government organisations and multinationals, providing commercial focus and leading teams through the dynamic interplay of systems and strategy.  She embraces the complexities of different cultures and ways of working, as well as the more detailed considerations of regulatory compliance, project development and making IT platforms talk to each other.

Helen has facilitated large complex infrastructure investment cases, such as Energy Queensland and Transgrid regulatory proposals as well as the first Grid Battery in NSW.  Her current work focuses on innovative business models, future networks and energy transition market first projects.

She is an economist at heart and holds an MBA from Oxford University, as well as Bachelors of Economics, Commerce and first class honours in Management from The University of Queensland.
